This workshop is back by popular demand, as this has proven a fun day for all. Designed to give you an insight into how I create a canvas depicting some of our great feline carnivores, the BIG CATS. I will indicate light effects and colour use, composition, fur and eyes.
The days will start at 10.00 am, so arrive around 9.50 am. It will end around 4.00pm to 4.30pm. A hot lunch of fish & chips unless you request otherwise will be provided along with refreshments during the day. Boards and table easels are provided for use. The day is designed for oil or Acrylic painters alike. You will need your painting equipment and paints. Please use Zest-it and not spirits to cleanse brushes if using oils. I will also be providing Canvas paper to work upon for this event.
Day 1 I shall be showing you some techniques for rendering fur and eyes. This will be followed by a demonstration by me. After lunch it will be your turn, with my help we shall paint a Tiger together during the afternoon and continue it on Day 2. Day 2 will also be punctuated with many helpful tips and ideas for you to bring your painting to a successful conclusion.
Space is very limited so book early to avoid disappointment .
I can help you with local B&B’s / Hotel to make your stay more comfortable should you need accommodation.
