The United Society of Artists The United Society of Artists is an independent non profit-making society originally established in 1921, as an art organisation aimed at providing artists living outside London with the opportunity to exhibit in London. Today the UA showcases the work of artists from all over the UK, representing some of the best contemporary artists working in different forms of media and subject area and the society enables members to show and be promoted in exhibitions at different galleries and locations across the UK. It also holds an annual Members Exhibition, open to members only, and an Open Exhibition, open to members and non-members. Past members include David Shepherd, Edna Biznan and Gordon Gunn. I was invited to become an associate member in 2013 and became a full member shortly after.
The Wildlife Art Society International The Wildlife Art Society International I was a founder member of TWASI many years ago and also a regular exhibitor.  The free exhibitions do much to promote the image of wildlife in the public imagination.
