Oil on panel 8″ x 10″
It was Ken Howard’s advice that I travelled to Sennen Cove, just outside of Lands End. A surfers’ paradise, here I got wet by a wave surge as I was perched upon the rocks and could not escape. Neither did my pomade as it took a tumble and parts separated on the palette, not good but just usable with care! This painting of the Lifeboat station and harbour is the result. Really though it is about the magnificent beauty of the waves and rocks, so evocative of the Cornish coastline. Sold in a handmade and waxed wooden frame.
