Sunday Painting Workshop – British Wildlife (Fox) – 25th November 2018
The fox is one of the most instantly recognisable and iconic of all British wildlife and in this workshop we will be using pastels to create a stunning portrait of this wily and charismatic animal.
The day will start at 10.00am so please arrive around 9.50am. The morning session will start with a practical one hour demonstration in which I show you some techniques that I employ when I am creating a new painting and some aspects of tone and composition. Please feel free to ask any questions! You will then begin painting yourself and I’ll be on hand with tips and ideas to help you create a beautiful painting.
A hot fish and chip lunch (unless you request otherwise) will be provided at 1pm and, after lunch, we will continue with our painting. The day will finish around 4.30pm. Refreshments will be provided throughout the day.
The workshop will be held at my light and airy studio located at Paul Apps Fine Art, 7-9 Marine Walk Street, Hythe, Kent CT21 5NW.
Local paid parking is available, free parking is possible in nearby streets about a five minute walk away from the gallery.
The day is designed for pastels (either pastel pencil or soft pastel, the choice is yours) and boards and table easels are provided for use. Please bring your own pastels, paper and other materials.
The day costs £90.00 and, owing to space, numbers are very limited. Book early to avoid disappointment.
