Welcome to the home of my New Painting Schools
Please read my brief history below.
From a young age, I was encouraged by my family to pursue my passion for drawing. In 1986/87, I committed to becoming a Wildlife and Landscape artist, immersing myself in the disciplines of drawing and painting across various mediums.

After five years in my career, I began teaching, helping hundreds of students in my studios and gallery to enhance their skills and embrace their creativity. In 2019, I expanded my reach through online platforms, launching two YouTube channels and a Patreon to provide accessible tutorials for all.

Now, I’m excited to introduce my new painting schools, designed to unify my classes and extensive content into one easy-to-navigate platform. Welcome to
In October 2024, I shall be launching two of my intended three new painting schools
on the Skool.com platform
It is a simple to use, and navigate platform designed for ease and enjoyment.
Of my first two schools, one will be completely free to be a part of, while the second will be a small monthly subscription charge, not unlike a Netflix or other similar account. Each school will be separate from the other, yet you only need to download the Skool.com app on your PC, Tablet of smartphone once. You simply create a free ongoing account to access the Skool platform and enjoy all that it has to offer.
Each Scholl will have its own community that you can become a part of, indeed, Communities are at the core of Skool.com. It is designed so that we can all interact with each other and that students can ask for help, get answers showcase their work and make good friends, a little like Facebook and Instagram. So its a great place to get inviolved.

My Free School is called " Paul Apps Art School ". As I have said it is free to join.
Here I will add YouTube content that has been made and will be made, all can be enjoyed AD-FREE
I will also add useful hints and tips from time to time to help you. I will also be a very active member of the community to help each of those members who need it. I hope that I may well be able to host the occasional Question and Answer session for all members on Zoom. Easy to join in with, as there is an integrated calendar for events. I will also list on this community my one off paid for set courses. These will be offered and added to, for added interest and learning opportunities.

My Second School is called " The Watercolour Painting School" This will be a small subscription based membership for those interested mainly in watercolour painting. It will also look at all water based mediums, such as Gouache , Acrylic and Ink and Wash, along with some Plein air. Topics will be Wildlife and Landscape in the main, but other subjects will be included as well. It will have my archival watercolour tutotrials added for good measure and as a great resource for all. I will conduct two monthly Zoom meetings/Demonstration evenings where I cover a variety of techniques through the creation of paintings. You can simply watch or paint along with me. Each event will be in the calendar tab for easy access. All of the demonstration materials will be add via PDF and easy to download. There will also be an exclusive Q&A session on the last Friday of each month to further help you all. All Zoom meetings and demonstrations after will
a small edit will be up loaded for all members to watch, watch again and paint along with at their own speed
This school will also have its own active community of which I plan to be a key participant helping all members.
As I have said this will be a monthly subscription based membership the fee you pay will never change, unless you leave and return later, all the time you are a member the fee to you remains the same even if the fees alter later for newer members.
The FEES are as at the LAUNCH date : $10 for the first 20 days as an offer price. on day 21 the fee will be $15 there after, so please grab a bargain and get in early.
( future increases may occur over time)
